 Join Campbell Gibson, a Senior Demographer retired from the U.S. Census Bureau, as he shows the wealth of information contained in the census about Alexandria's people from 1790 onward. He will discuss population growth, race(including free and slave), place of origin, education, occupation, and income. He will also discuss housing topics such as when buildings were built, units per structure, cooking and heating fuels and other intriguing information available from the U.S. Census.
