Join our new English as a Second Language (ESL) conversation class at the Barrett Branch every Wednesday at 4-5:30 pm on the second floor. This class is perfect for people who have learned English and are looking for an opportunity to practice it. Participants in the class should have at least an Intermediate understanding of English.Led by a volunteer who has previously taught ESL classes. Learn what an annuity is and how it is funded. There are several types of annuities and they are different! Learn about the tax advantages and how an annuity can assist you in maintaining financial independence. Some annuities can offer tax-deferred earnings and possibly income for life. This workshop will clearly explain the differences between annuities, 401 (K) plans and IRAs. You will learn about the owner, the issuer, the annuitant and the beneficiary and the roles they play in an annuity.
