Description:
 Examine quilts made from 1840-1870, and trace the westward movement of our country by reviewing the nation's economic conditions, focusing on the Oregon Trail as a conduit for travel and trade. The Oregon Trail, Civil War, and Underground Railroad are discussed in context with authentic quilts and their stories. Trunk show, presented by Jeananne Wright, in period clothing.
