Join us for an evening viewing and discussing the independent documentary, The Other Side of Cannabis: The Negative Effects of Marijuana on Our Youth on Monday, May 2nd at 7:00 p.m. The film will be followed by a discussion with Linda Lewaniak, LCSW, CADC, Director of the Center for Addiction Medicine at Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital. Parents and middle- and high-school students are encouraged to attend, because the message that marijuana is safe, natural and harmless as a recreational substance must be weighed against the evidence of associated risks. We owe it to our children to educate ourselves about the true effects using marijuana could have on their bodies, minds and lives.
