EPL and the Elmhurst History Museum co-present the poignant Academy Award-winning Civil War drama Glory in connection with EHM’s current exhibit, Freedom: A History of US. Following the Battle of Antietam, Col. Robert Shaw is offered command of the first U.S. African-American regiment—the 54th Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry—and valiantly leads his men from performing menial tasks to a heroic charge in the country’s fight for freedom.
