2. Read (or have someone read to you) and record the minutes that you spend reading in your reading log.

SUMMER READING 101 FOR TEENS

1.) SIGN UP! Registration here beginning Monday, June 10, 2013.
Valid FPLD card required.

2.) RECORD THE MINUTES YOU READ. Every time you read, watch the clock and then record your minutes in your online reading log. Read & record from June 10-August 3rd.

3.) PICK UP YOUR PRIZES. When you’ve reached a prize level, your online log will alert you to come get a prize. You will win a prize for every 300 minutes (up to 1500, with bonus raffle entries up to 2100) you read. Just make sure you get all your winnings before Aug. 10th, 2013.

Registration is based on the grade you are going into, so if you've finished 6th grade or above, you should register for the teen program. If you've graduated high school, you should register for the adult program.

For each level, winners will have a choice of a prize or a book and will also receive a raffle entry. Extra raffle entries for each Caudill nominee or Read for a Lifetime book you read during this summer!

7th-12th graders receive prizes at 300, 600, 900, 1200, and 1500 minutes. Bonus raffle prizes at 1800 and 2100 minutes!
