Celebrate Water Awareness Month with Glendale Water Conservation!
Let’s learn about our water! Our water comes from various
sources, and we have developed ways to ensure a reliable supply. Did you know
that one way we store water is through dams? During this event, participants
will have the opportunity to build a dam and learn about the many benefits they
provide. We will also use a groundwater flow model to demonstrate how we access
water stored underground in aquifers. Ages 5-18.
Don’t forget – you can also participate in the 2024 Water Conservation Bookmark Art
Contest by creating your own bookmark!

It’s the first day of Flight School, where they teach birds to fly. Penguin has the soul of an eagle and is ready to live on the wind. But he wasn’t built to soar, as the other birds constantly remind him. Penguin’s spirit won’t be grounded. With some friends of a feather, and a little help on the technical parts, Penguin follows his dreams to flip, flap, fly!
