Join Christine Boyko to learn about Pysanka and design an egg, using this folk art. The eggs are decorated using a wax-resist method; the name derives from the Ukrainian "pysaty," meaning "to write." Two person family teams (parent/child, grandparent/child, teen/younger sibling, etc.) are invited to participate; one egg per team. This "Tales of Childhood" program is funded by a grant from the City of Glendale and the Glendale Arts Commission. Register online or by calling 623-930-3837, beginning April 6th.
