Event Details

Do you have questions about the creative process? Need advice about character development? Meet with Amy K. Nichols, Glendale's first Writer in Residence, during her Creative Space office hours for writing inspiration and feedback. *Due to time constraints, authors cannot read anything outside scheduled office hours.* Amy K. Nichols is the author of the young adult science fiction Duplexity series (Now That You’re Here and While You Were Gone), published by Knopf Books for Young Readers. She has served as a mentor with the Your Novel Year program at the Virginia G. Piper Center for Creative Writing, and has led workshops at the Piper Writers Studio. She regularly facilitates discussions and workshops for young writers at libraries and schools around the valley. Insatiably curious, Amy dabbles in art and quantum physics, and has a long list of things she wants to learn before she dies. She lives with her family in Peoria, AZ.
