Join the Norman Stamp Club and the U.S. Postal Service's Norman Office for a free postage stamp collecting workshop for kids 8 years old or up and their families. There will be free stamps provided for participants, as well as door prizes. The event is being presented in commemoration of National Stamp Collecting Month in October. Norman Stamp Club representatives will be available to help any Girl Scout or Boy Scout earn a stamp collecting merit badge at the program. Stamp Club members will help anyone interested in stamp collecting learn how to begin or answer any questions more advanced collectors have about the hobby. Club members will also help library customers learn how to evaluate their collection.
