Date: 4/30/2014
Start Time: 12:00 PM
End Time: 1:00 PM
Description:
Learn how you can protect your estate from taxes and probate. Estate conservation accomplishes two goals: to manage the estate during your lifetime, and to help make arrangements for prompt and proper distribution of your estate upon death. Discover common misconceptions about trusts, such as, “I will give up control of my assets”, “I have a Will, so I don’t have to worry about Probate”, and “My estate is not large enough to need a Trust”, just to name a few. Everyone needs an estate plan. A living trust is often used to save thousands of dollars in probate costs and/or estate taxes. A trust also avoids the long time delays and publicity of probate. It allows flexibility with the distribution of property, as well as provide for distributions and guardianship of minor children.
