Recycle your old electronics on May 9, 2015 from 10am-4pm in the North Parking Lot. Fill your truck, car, or even wagon and bring it to the library. There will be plenty of help to unload all your unwanted electronics. Clean out that cellar, garage or attic now! Event held in cooperation with New Life Electronics Recycling, Inc. List of accepted items: Computers Monitors (all types) Printers/ Fax Machines Scanners Laptops/ Tablets Servers Televisions* Still Cameras/ Video Cameras MP3 Players Batteries of all Types Cell Phones & Chargers Phone Systems Cables Radios / Speakers Projectors Routers, Modems, & Switches Scrap Metal / Lawn Mowers PDA’s Keyboards/ Mice External Drives DVD Players / DVD Recorders VHS Players / VHS Recorders Cable Receivers Satellite Receivers Digital Converter Boxes Video Game Consoles Alarm Clocks *Please note that a CRT tube television that has a cut cord or is missing components may be rejected. *New Life Recycling will accept a large variety of items so if you do not see your item on the list, please contact New Life Recylcing to find out if it will be accepted. LIMIT 1 TV per household. There is no need to worry about your personal data. All hard drives will be wiped according to the Illinois EPA guidelines with our data destruction program that meets Department of Defense Standards.
