Assisting customers as they seek and use digital information, access E-government services, and communicate online is a new and sometimes challenging role for library information services staff. This workshop introduces coaching as a teaching and communication technique that can be successfully used to improve your interactions with customers and result in improved customer service. Ruth O’Donnell has presented library service related workshops throughout the country and developed this coaching session to meet the specific needs of information service providers.
