 Library staff at all levels know the value of blending memorable storytelling with well-designed, easy-to-understand visuals to promote their library and its important events or needs. Even though you may not especially like this essential function, the good news is that these are ways that you can help spread the word about your library’s importance and boost its stature. In this presentation, Dr. Stephanie Rollins will share tips and tricks for creating and delivering persuasive presentations. Learn fast, easy methods for developing your narrative and how to elude “Death By PowerPoint”. Find out why it is important to begin and end strong. Is it possible to conquer stage fright? Strategies for addressing tough questions in the Q & A period will be covered.
