Revitalize your story time with this hands-on workshop. Join us for a review of the early literacy skills, learn new ways to integrate playful learning into your story time, and get an overview of the Every Child Ready to Read program (now available for checkout through the SWFLN lending library).
Academic Library staff will be able to create programs that engage students with their children and improve their pre-literacy skills through playful story times.
This training is an opportunity for public library staff to become reenergized about story time. Revitalize your story time with games and activities that support the early literacy skills and connect children with books in a hands-on way.
School Librarians and Media Specialists will leave this workshop with ideas for creating age appropriate book programs in their library for their preK and Kindergarten students that will help them to cement foundational literacy concepts.
Special Librarians will learn how to create art experiences for young children that will improve pre-literacy skills and allow for creative explorations and playful learning.
