|Accidental Systems Librarianship|
Event Type: SWFLN Webinar|
Start Time: 10:00 AM
End Time: 11:00 AM
Although larger libraries frequently have staff dedicated to, and fully trained in, the management of library systems, the job of “systems librarian” in small libraries is frequently one of many tasks assigned to staff with responsibilities and training concentrated in other areas. Even with some expertise in library technology, being an “accidental” systems librarian comes with its own unique challenges. This webinar will outline some of those challenges and one mid-career academic librarian’s time-tested methods of dealing with them.
Location: Web Based Training
