 Beginning Cricut users will enjoy a basic introduction to all aspects of using the cutting machines and Design Space. Learn how to create, download, and produce several items using the Cricut machine so that when you borrow SWFLNs Cricut, you can use it efficiently and creatively!

Academic Library staff members will be interested to create, download, and craft everything from posters, decorations, jewelry and monograms. Incorporate a Cricut into your makerspace!

Public Library staff members will find this training beneficial because you can borrow the
Cricut machine and make so many programming ideas. Great for adult, teen, and youth programming as well as marketing.

School Librarians and Media Specialists will be interested in this workshop because teachers can use the Cricut for classroom decorations, reading programs, reward incentives, holiday projects and gift ideas.

Special Libraries will be interested in this workshop because it will enable you to personalize so many items for your special library. Do you have a special mascot or symbol? Cricut will help you create your special symbol for marketing and gift shop ideas.

 About the Presenters:

Olivia Wilson is the Head of Youth Services at Dunedin Public Library in Dunedin, Florida. Her special interests are Early Literacy and assisting programming librarians with crafting! She has presented many FLYP programs for summer reading; SWFLN, PLAN, NEFLIN, SEFLIN, and TBLC courses; as well as several FLA presentations.

Katherine Kastanis is the Young Adult Librarian and Young Adult Volunteer Coordinator at the Dunedin Public Library. Katherine has presented numerous training workshops and webinars along the way throughout Florida, including Florida State Libraries, SWFLN, NEFLIN, SEFLIN, and TBLC. She is always looking for ways to increase teen and youth presence in her library and beyond.
