Title: The American Muslim Teenager's Handbook
Author: Dilara Hafiz
Review: This nonfiction title by Dilara Hafiz was rather interesting. Short, easy to read, but very informative, it covered a wide range of topics geared toward varying levels of religious adherence. While it would probably be helpful to Muslim students who have questions about how to practice their faith in a culture not quite geared to it, this is also helpful to aid non-Muslims in understanding some of the practices and history. It draws a lot of parallels between Judaism, Christianity and Islam, and is very similar to books of instruction for Christian teens. ...Reserve it!
