Standing in the Rainbow: A Novel
Author
Fannie Flagg
Review
Fannie Flagg, author of Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe, wrote this book several years ago (copyright 2002), but I just discovered it. It's full of great characters who are living in Elmwood Springs, Missouri, from 1946 to the early 21st century. If you like Garrison Keillor, you'll like this.  Reserve it!

Review
Excellent book. Don't let the fact that this is YA fiction deter you. This book is sad, funny and very insightful. I have loaned my daughter's copy to many adults, and they all enjoyed it.   Reserve it!
