Drawing from letters, diaries and photographs from the Lake County Discovery Museum’s collections, Diana Dretske presents the personal stories of Lake County residents on the home front and the battlefield. Dretske is the Lake County historian and collections coordinator for the Lake County Discovery Museum and recipient of a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Illinois State Historical Society.
