|Making Your Images Ready for the Web|
Event Type: SWFLN Webinar|
Start Time: 10:00 AM
End Time: 11:00 AM
Are you responsible for creating and/or posting graphics or photos online? Are your photos stretched or pixelated? Are graphics optimized specifically for specific social media channels? Are website images inadvertently sucking up your patron’s (expensive) mobile bandwidth? Does your library follow recommended best practices to get the most attention for your images?
You may not even be aware of some of the issues that web images can create for your patrons. In this webinar, we’re going to help you get your images ready for prime time.
Academic Library staff will be interested in this webinar because staff will learn why incorrectly-sized images can actively discourage users from looking at your content.
Public Library staff will be interested in this webinar because staff will learn which graphic formats are best for which intended uses.
School Library staff will be interested in this webinar because staff will learn the differences between raster and vector images and why that matters.
Special Library staff will be interested in this webinar because staff will learn how and why to optimize graphic files for the best user experience.
Location: Web Based Training
Registration Ends: 7/7/2020 at 8:00 AM
